Tourism in Telangana has seen a significant boost after the establishment of state infrastructure. Chief Minister KCR has dedicated Yadagirigutta as a spiritual destination, adorned with greenery and new temples. With natural wonders like waterfalls and man-made Kaleshwaram reservoirs, Telangana is now discovering new tourist centers in the state. We propose the creation of ten tourist centers in the state.

Laknavaram: Telangana's divine abode, Laknavaram is a highly revered spiritual area in the state. After the construction of a magnificent temple, devotees are flocking to witness the beautiful surroundings. The presence of Madanika sculptures, mesmerizing dance performances, and the essence of Kakatiya Dynasty can be experienced here.

Mannanur: To enjoy the beauty of Nallamala forests, one must visit Mannanur, a charming area in Kurnool district. The breathtaking Mannanur waterfall, surrounded by lush greenery and silver streams, is a gem in Telangana's tourism crown.

Krishnatati: If you want to experience the grandeur of Nallamala hills and witness the mesmerizing Krishna River, visit this serene place near Srisailam. The Krishna River, surrounded by enchanting hills and serene landscapes, offers a captivating view from Farahabad View Point.

Ramappa: Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ramappa showcases the cultural glory of Telangana. With its exquisite stone sculptures depicting various dance forms and intricate carvings, Ramappa Temple in Palampet Mandal is a sight to behold.

Secretariat: The capital city of Hyderabad is a heavenly destination for tourists worldwide. The newly constructed Secretariat overlooking the beautiful Hussain Sagar Lake, the 125-feet Ambedkar statue, and the iconic Durgam Cheruvu Bridge are some of the attractions that entice visitors.

Karunamayam: Located near the border, this century-old church in Medak town, built in Gothic style, stands tall as the second-largest Christian temple in Asia.

Telangana's tourism is thriving with these unique destinations that reflect the state's cultural heritage and natural beauty.

Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has introduced an incredible system to quickly resolve public issues. Inaugurating the ward offices at 150 wards on Friday, Minister K Tarakarama Rao, along with Minister for Urban Development KT Rama Rao and GHMC Commissioner M Dana Kishore, stated that the main goal is to provide better civic services to the people. They also mentioned that GHMC officials are given more authority to address public issues promptly, without just focusing on providing services, but also ensuring quick resolution of public problems. This system was implemented to eliminate the need for corporators and to empower the administrative machinery. They emphasized that this move is aimed at decentralization and making the public the center of governance. The ministers highlighted that with this initiative, citizens can expect faster civic services, complaint resolutions, and more efficient functioning of various departments.

The ward offices are managed by ten officials from different departments. These officials oversee programs related to road maintenance, sanitation, horticulture, town planning, electricity, water supply, and one computer operator. Additionally, in the future, they plan to include more officials from health and police departments to the ward offices. It was also announced that Ward Committees will be held accountable for the supervision of these programs. Zone Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, and Ward Committee members will be responsible for monitoring the activities in the ward offices.

Minister KTR stated that ward governance should be an example for the nation. He mentioned that this system can be implemented in all cities across the country. KTR expressed his confidence in this system and said that it will be executed efficiently. The ministers also emphasized the importance of political leaders working beyond politics and focusing on successful implementation of such programs. They concluded by stating that Telangana has set an example for the country and is now leading the way towards sustainable governance.
