    In a meeting with journalists in Warangal, Minister K Taraka Ramarao clarified that the Municipal Department should form a committee under the leadership of Media Academy Chairman to address the concerns of journalists.

    Kasibugga, June 17: Minister K Taraka Ramarao, who visited the Warangal district on Saturday, met with 143 leaders of the localities and journalists and listened to their issues. He clarified that the Municipal Department had already allocated land for the journalists' housing societies in two locations in the Warangal district and if they provide the account number for land registration, they will release funds for the same. The 143 leaders of the housing societies in Warangal have brought the issue of inaccessible land to the attention of Minister KTR. Chairman of the Media Academy, Allam Narayana, has informed that if the final list is made, he will also include the journalists' localities in it and present it to the collectors who are available there. He also mentioned that he has spoken to Allam Narayana about talking to journalists about their issues regarding inaccessible land.

    The Telangana Union of Working Journalists, represented by its Chief Executive Officer Askanai Maruthi Sagar and State Vice President Vishnuvardhan Reddy, met with the Minister during the meeting.

These achievements are being celebrated through pictures that depict the transformation taking place in Telangana.

    Karimnagar | Shankaraptnam/Huzurabad Rural: In the village of Kothagattu in the Shankaraptnam Mandal of Karimnagar district, a car coming at high speed collided with a tree and overturned. In this accident, the sarpanch of the Huzurabad Mandal, Gopu Komurareddy (53), died on the spot.

    According to the information provided by the police and locals, Gopu Komurareddy, the sarpanch of Komurareddy Huzurabad Rural Mandal, was traveling from Karimnagar to Huzurabad on Saturday when his car veered off the road and hit a tree near Kothagattu village in the Shankaraptnam Mandal. Gopu Komurareddy died on the spot. The front part of the car was completely destroyed. Gopu Komurareddy is survived by his wife Rama and two children, Ujwal and Akhil. Both children are married.

    Rama, the wife of Gopu Komurareddy, has filed a complaint with the Shankaraptnam police. The body was sent to the mortuary for post-mortem at the Huzurabad government hospital. Meanwhile, the village is mourning the death of Gopu Komurareddy. The villagers expressed their grief over the problems faced by the village and the need for someone to resolve them, describing Gopu Komurareddy as a person who was always available to help. BRS leaders also expressed their condolences over the death of Gopu Komurareddy.
