Banswada (Kamareddy): Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy announced that the government has given more priority to the healthcare sector with the resolution to provide improved medical services to the people in the state. As part of the Telangana Formation Day celebrations, Speaker Pocharam conducted the Pattana Pragathi event at Professor Jayashankar Mini Stadium in Banswada town on Friday. The Speaker attended the event as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, the Speaker spoke about the government's special focus on public health. He mentioned that the government has increased the number of deliveries through the KCR Kit scheme in government hospitals. It was also highlighted that pregnant women are being provided with nutritious food and nutrition kits through Anganwadi centers. The Speaker also emphasized that efforts are being made to provide quality healthcare services to the people by equipping hospitals with modern medical equipment.

Explaining the progress made in the town in recent years, it was announced that the Pattana Pragathi event aims to inform people about the development works carried out in the town. It was stated that from 60 to 70 deliveries a month, the number has now increased to 400 to 500. After delivery, the mothers and babies are being transported to their homes free of cost through 102 ambulances. The Amma Odi program is also being implemented in the town, which is benefiting the people. The progress made in Banswada town was explained during the event. KTR | Hyderabad: State IT and Municipal Administration Minister KTR announced that the state government is allocating Rs. 71 crore for the implementation of Swachh Bharat in all municipal corporations in the state. He stated that the program includes awareness campaigns for the youth about waste segregation, compost preparation, and various methods to maintain cleanliness. KTR attended the Telangana State Formation Day celebrations held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre as the chief guest, where he spoke about the progress made by the city under the Telangana State Development Programs.

Municipal officials working in the Greater Hyderabad area are working diligently with utmost sincerity and dedication. We follow the principles of Telangana and also adhere to the country's guidelines, he added. We are focusing on improving schools and providing basic amenities, said KTR.

KTR highlighted that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's surprise over the TS-BPASS Act. He mentioned that we also implement it here. For nine years, our ministers and officials have not indulged in any corrupt activities, he clarified. We are working with transparency and achieving progress in all sectors, said KTR.

KTR expressed his happiness and said that we have achieved a lot, but there is still more to do. He praised Rajnikanth for appreciating the development in Hyderabad. He called him a person who returned the lost pride to the country. He said that when he visits some areas in Hyderabad, it feels like being in New York. This is a great achievement for our TRS party and engineers. Despite the challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic, our officials and engineers have worked tirelessly to construct roads and flyovers at a rapid pace. We congratulate them for their dedication and commitment, said KTR.

KTR also informed that 22 sanitation workers are working day and night to maintain cleanliness in Hyderabad city. They have made the city clean and sanitized during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Jagnnathapuram gram panchayat in Bhadradri Kothagudem district has been chosen as the best gram panchayat in the country for its excellent water management practices. Adilabad has secured the third position in the category of best districts. Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad has been ranked as the second best institution in the Urdu university category. In total, the government has announced 41 awards across 11 categories. Madhya Pradesh has been selected as the best state, and Ganjam in Odisha has been chosen as the best district.

The Jagnnathapuram gram panchayat in Bhadradri Kothagudem district has excelled as the best gram panchayat. Adilabad has secured the third position among the best districts. Maulana Azad National Urdu University in Hyderabad has been ranked as the second best institution in the Urdu university category. These awards will be presented by Vice President Venkaiah Naidu on June 17 at the Vigyan Bhawan in Delhi. The recipients will be awarded with certificates of appreciation, trophies, and cash prizes. The awards recognize their efforts in water conservation, river rejuvenation, and the Ganga river revival program since 2018.

Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao expressed his happiness for Telangana's recognition as the best in the country in terms of rural development and progress achieved through various programs implemented by Chief Minister KCR. Medchal, Malkajgiri: Minister Mallareddy of the State Labor Department has said that Chief Minister KCR has brought a revolution in the agriculture sector, benefiting the farmers of Telangana. He made these remarks while inspecting the progress of the palli (village) development works in Majidpur, Aliabad villages of Medchal-Malkajgiri district on Thursday. He stated that under the guidance of KCR, the villages are witnessing rapid growth and development.

The government has implemented various initiatives such as CC roads, CC cameras, Haritha Haram (Greenery Program), palli vanaalu (village parks), dumping yards, farmer markets, and rythu vedikalu (farmer platforms) to improve the living standards of the villagers. The progress of the palli development in Telangana has been commendable and it has been acknowledged in other states as well.

It was explained that the villages are now experiencing a clean and pollution-free environment with lush greenery. The government is providing financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakhs to those who do not have a house. Beecees (beneficiary committee) are being provided with financial assistance of one lakh rupees. Chairman of JADPI, Sharath Chandra Reddy, spoke about the remarkable progress of palli development under the leadership of Chief Minister KCR. In this program, MP Malla Reddy, JADPI T Anitha, DCEMS Vice Chairman Madhukar Reddy, and Chairman of the Farmers' Committee Mandal Krishna Reddy were also present.
