Aadhar Update | Aadhar Navikaran Gadu Podimpu.. September 14 Varaku Avakasham Kalpinchina UIDAI

Aadhaar Update: The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has introduced a new feature for updating Aadhaar cards that have expired. According to the statement released by the authority, individuals who have not updated their cards even after the expiry date are being warned. The opportunity to update Aadhaar cards was made available for the first time starting from March 15th this year. The authorities have set up queues at Aadhaar centers in thousands in various districts to facilitate free updating of Aadhaar cards for four months. However, many people have been left behind due to the completion of the process. After the deadline of September 14th, the UIDAI announced fresh guidelines and penalties for those who fail to update their Aadhaar cards.

    Method of Updating Aadhaar Cards:

To update Aadhaar cards, individuals need to visit the website https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in and log in using their Aadhaar number. After clicking on the "Proceed to Update Address" option, they will receive an OTP (One Time Password) on their registered mobile number. After entering the OTP, they should click on the "Update Document" option. Then, they need to enter the details provided on the documents and upload scanned copies of the proofs of identity and address. A request number for the update will appear on the screen. The status of the update can be checked anytime by using this request number.

By introducing these new guidelines, the UIDAI aims to ensure that individuals keep their Aadhaar card information up to date. Failure to update Aadhaar cards can lead to penalties and restrictions on various services. It is important for everyone to take advantage of this opportunity and update their Aadhaar cards within the given timeframe.
