    The Hyderabad Commissioner’s task force, along with the Bandlaguda police, is conducting raids in different areas to catch suspects involved in the murder of social activist Shaik Sayeed Bawazir. The murder happened in an office on Bandlaguda Road. Three people have already been detained in connection with the crime. The City Police Commissioner has instructed the Task Force to work with the Bandlaguda police and conduct a thorough investigation. The police have also gone to other cities and towns to search for suspects who may be hiding there.

    The funeral of Bawazir took place at Barkas playground. Many people attended the funeral prayers and procession. Bawazir gained attention for making videos on social media about civic issues in Jalpally municipality. He had been attacked before for bringing attention to certain problems.

    A day before his murder, Bawazir released a video saying he had been receiving threatening phone calls and messages. His family filed a police complaint naming several local leaders, including the chairman of Jalpally municipality and an AIMIM leader. In another development, the family members of Ahmed Sadi, one of the named leaders, have accused the police of harassment, claiming that police teams have been entering their house late at night.
