Telangana Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar conducted a surprise inspection of a TSRTC bus travelling from Hyderabad to Mahabubnagar. He wanted to know how much money women commuters were saving each month with the Mahalakshmi free travel scheme.
During his journey from Nandigama to Shadnagar, the Minister interacted with passengers and listened to their travel difficulties. He also mentioned that one thousand new buses will be added to the fleet to help both TSRTC employees and commuters.
Prabhakar spoke with the bus driver and conductor about their challenges. He assured them that discussions about implementing the Pay Revision Commission and recruitment processes were underway in the bus body.
In a tweet, Ponnam Prabhakar shared his experience of interacting with passengers on the bus from Hyderabad to Mahabubnagar. They discussed their issues and the Minister assured them of improvements in TSRTC services.
