Minister for Environment, Forests, and Endowments Konda Surekha spoke at a meeting in Warangal on Tuesday. She said she is ready for a legal battle if BRS working president K T Rama Rao files a defamation case against her. KTR had threatened legal action over comments she made about his alleged involvement in a phone tapping case.
At the meeting, Surekha also criticized KTR for losing his way after his party’s defeat in the Assembly elections and the arrest of his sister, MLC K Kavitha. She mentioned that Kavitha is currently in Tihar Jail for her alleged role in the Delhi Liquor scam. Surekha also noted that abusive language by politicians started with KCR, and said they would not hesitate to respond in kind to criticism from BRS leaders.
Warangal Lok Sabha seat in-charge Parkal MLA Revuri Prakash Reddy urged leaders to coordinate for an upcoming public meeting on April 6, where Rahul Gandhi will release the Congress national manifesto.
