The newly-elected MLAs from Warangal district in Telangana took their oath in the first session of the Assembly. Konda Surekha, Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka), Naini Rajender Reddy, and others were sworn in. The oath was administered by Pro-tem Speaker Akbaruddin Owaisi.

Konda Surekha and Seethakka, who were appointed to the State Cabinet, have been given their portfolios by Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Konda Surekha will be in charge of the Environment & Forests and Endowment departments, while Danasari Anasuya will oversee Panchayat Raj, Rural Development (including Rural Water Supply), and Women & Child Welfare.

Interestingly, the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development portfolio was previously held by Errabelli Dayakar Rao, who is also from Warangal district. Seethakka has also been given the Women and Child Welfare Ministry, which was previously held by Satyavathi Rathod of Mahabubabad.
