A seminar on the “Importance of Justice in Democracy” will be held in Hyderabad on Sunday. The speakers at the seminar include notable activists such as Prashant Bhushan, Apoorvanand, B Chandra Kumar, and Dr Mohammed Mateenuddin Quadri. The purpose of the seminar is to raise awareness among the general public, especially minorities, about protecting themselves from fascist forces. The speakers, who are highly respected activists, will discuss how to seek relief from controversial legislation and persecution. The seminar will take place from 11am to 2pm at the Nehru Auditorium, Madina Educational Centre, Nampally.
Mirza Yousuf Baig, President of Citizen Legal Academy, expressed concern about the current government’s treatment of minorities. He stated that minorities are being forced to protect themselves because the government has become a predator and is instilling fear in their minds and hearts. The goal of the seminar is to bring together intellectuals, social workers, businessmen, lawyers, academicians, and people from different backgrounds to explore legal remedies and ethical solutions within the framework of the Indian Constitution.
Baig emphasized that this seminar is a small step towards preserving democracy and countering deviant forces that seek to destroy tolerance, love, and communal harmony in our nation.
