Hyderabad: LB Nagar BRS MLA D Sudheer Reddy criticized party leaders for making open statements about the government falling. He urged them to accept the defeat gracefully and denied rumors about switching parties.

In a casual conversation with the media, Reddy advised party leaders to think before speaking. He questioned why they were making statements about the government falling so quickly and suggested that they should all accept defeat with dignity. He asked them to give the government policies at least four to five months before passing judgment.

Reddy said that if the Congress party fails to fulfill its pre-election promises, they will take up protest programs and be the voice of the people as a strong opposition party.

Some leaders from the pink party have been claiming that the Congress government will fall within six months. Kadiyam Srihari and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, among others, have made these statements. Srihari claimed that they had the support of 55 MLAs, including 39 seats from BRS and its alliance partner AIMIM, along with eight BJP members who were unhappy with Congress. He also mentioned that disgruntled Congress leaders would support the BRS government.

Regarding the election, Reddy stated that the BC card did not play a significant role as it was just a gimmick used by a few parties. He explained that voting patterns in different constituencies are not based on caste. For instance, in LB Nagar where there are more BCs, the BC candidate from Congress came in third place. Similarly, in Miryalaguda where BCs are the majority, candidates from the Reddy community have been winning. According to Reddy, R Krishnaiah is the only honest fighter for BCs, and his victory was due to the TDP-BJP alliance.
