Excitement was evident on the faces of school and college students as they rode the Vande Bharat train launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The new train, with vibrant orange and grey colors, was flagged off for its inaugural run between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam.
Around 120 students were among the passengers on the first journey of the second Vande Bharat Express. They found the new Tangerine Grey/Orange exterior more attractive and the interior more comfortable and spacious compared to the earlier variant.
Akhila Reddy, a student at Railway Junior College, Lallaguda, said she was impressed by the new look of Vande Bharat on her second ride. Another student, Rohini from Railway School, eagerly awaited this day after winning an essay writing competition.
