Dental students in Telangana are having to travel to Vijayawada to take their practical exams, which is causing them financial and emotional strain. They have asked the Andhra Pradesh government to let them take the exams in their own colleges. Previously, Telangana students had to study in Vijayawada, but since a new university was formed in 2016, they have been studying in Telangana. The All India Dental Students Association has written to the government of Andhra Pradesh to ask for help. The Association President said that letting the students take their exams in their own colleges would benefit everyone involved. The students are hoping that the AP government will listen to their request.
