Nagar Kurnool: District Collector Badavath Santosh has asked officials to take strict steps to ensure the smooth and peaceful completion of the Ganesh immersion festival. On Wednesday, the Collector, along with police, revenue, and municipal department officials, inspected the arrangements at Naganool Lake in Nagar Kurnool Municipality.

The Collector stressed that the Ganesh immersion should happen peacefully and without any unfortunate incidents. He urged officials to make sure everything is organized well, especially in urban areas, to prevent any disruptions during the celebrations.

He also gave instructions to the Panchayat Raj and Roads & Buildings (R&B) officials to quickly fill any pits near the immersion site and fix them as soon as possible. Additionally, the Collector asked them to clear any obstacles along the Shobha Yatra procession route, such as trimming overhanging tree branches and lifting low-hanging electrical wires. The focus is to ensure devotees can reach the lakes easily for the immersion, with municipality staff available to help at the lake.
