    Elaborate arrangements have been made for the Lok Sabha elections in Hyderabad district. The polling will be held for two Parliamentary constituencies and an Assembly by-election on Monday. Over 3,900 polling stations have been set up with necessary infrastructure, and more than 30,000 election and law & order staff have been deployed.

    On Sunday, Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) were dispatched to the polling stations under strict vigil. The voting will take place from 7 am to 6 pm on Monday for the Lok Sabha representatives.

    Candidates are contesting for Hyderabad and Secunderabad Parliament Constituencies and Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly Constituencies. District Election Officer Ronald Rose has ensured that the polling officers reach the centres on time.

    Over 45 lakh voters are expected to participate in the elections in Hyderabad district. Critical polling stations have been identified for security purposes.

    Webcasting has been done at all polling stations for monitoring. Comprehensive security measures have been taken at the polling stations to ensure a smooth voting process.

    Police have imposed Section 144 in Hyderabad district to maintain security. Around 14,000 police personnel, including Central Armed Police Forces, will be deployed for safety during the elections. Patrolling vehicles and surveillance teams will be active to respond to any incidents promptly.

    Different police commissioners in Hyderabad have outlined their security plans for the elections, with a focus on deploying personnel and ensuring fair conduct during the voting process.
