District Superintendent of Police (SP) Ravula Giridhar IPS announced that Section 163 of the BNSS Act-2023 (Indian Citizen Safety Code) will be enforced at all examination centers during the exam period. These restrictions will be in effect from 6:00 a.m. on December 15 until 6:00 p.m. on December 16.

To ensure safety and order, 200 police officers and staff have been deployed across the 31 exam centers. Strict security measures are in place to prevent disturbances. SP Giridhar emphasized that no groups or gatherings will be allowed within 200 meters of the exam centers. Activities such as rallies, meetings, protests, or the use of microphones, DJs, and campaigns are strictly prohibited.

Additionally, local internet centers, Xerox shops, and stationery stores near the exam venues will remain closed during the examination period. The SP urged political parties, associations, and the general public to cooperate with the police to ensure a smooth and peaceful examination environment.

Special police patrolling teams have been assigned to monitor the areas surrounding the exam centers. Surveillance has been stepped up to prevent any untoward incidents, and legal action will be taken against anyone violating the rules, according to the SP.

These measures are being implemented as a precaution to maintain fairness and security during the exams. Authorities are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the smooth conduct of the Group-II examinations.
