The District Collector of Wanaparthy, Adarsh Surabhi, has stressed the need for smooth and well-coordinated conduct of the Group 2 exams scheduled for December 15 and 16. A crucial meeting to discuss the arrangements was held on Wednesday at the Collectorate Conference Hall, led by Additional Collector Revenue G. Venkateshwarlu.

The Collector emphasized that candidates must arrive at their designated exam centers on time. Late entry will not be permitted, even if a candidate is delayed by just one minute. The exams will take place in two sessions: from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Entry into the centers will begin at 9:30 AM for the morning session and 2:30 PM for the afternoon session.

Candidates are required to carry one of 12 accepted original identity cards, as photocopies will not be accepted. They must also bring their hall ticket and a blue or black pen. Items like cell phones, electronic devices, handbags, and other personal belongings are strictly prohibited inside the exam centers.

Municipal Commissioners have been instructed to ensure proper sanitation of the exam centers a day before the exams. They must also arrange drinking water and place clear signage at the venues. Tahsildars have been directed to enforce Section 144 during the exam period and ensure all Xerox centers remain closed.

The Electricity Department has been tasked with providing an uninterrupted power supply at all exam centers. Additionally, the Medical Officer must arrange first aid and have an ambulance ready on standby. The Police Department will deploy personnel to conduct checks at the exam centers, while the RTC officer has been asked to increase bus services for the convenience of the candidates.

A Control Room has been set up to address any issues related to the exams. Candidates and concerned individuals can contact the helpline at 08545-233525 for assistance during the exam days.

Key officials, including Additional Collector Revenue G. Venkateshwarlu, ZP CEO Yadaya, RDO Subramaniam, and representatives from various departments, participated in the meeting to ensure all preparations are in place for a successful examination process.
