City Commissioner of Police (CP), Sandeep Shandilya, has given instructions to the staff on how to handle rowdy individuals in sensitive areas. To ensure the smooth functioning of the police stations in problematic zones, the CP is personally inspecting them on a daily basis. As part of this initiative, the CP is checking the police stations until midnight and gathering information about rowdy individuals present there.
The staff have been advised to take custody of hardened rowdies. The CP emphasized that the staff should not be afraid while carrying out their duties during the elections and should demonstrate courage. He assured them that if any issues arise, he will promptly provide a suitable solution. The CP has directed the police to focus solely on conducting the elections smoothly.
These measures are being taken to maintain peace and order in the city and ensure a safe environment during the election period.
