Good news for medical students! The Telangana government has increased stipends by 15% for MBBS/BDS (House Surgeons), PG Degree, PG Diploma, MDS, and Super specialty courses, as well as honorarium for senior residents. The increase will take effect from January 1, 2023. Health Minister T Harish Rao announced this on his Twitter account. He praised their commitment to the welfare of junior doctors and the healthcare system in Telangana. He appreciates their consideration of the representation and immediate action, which led to a successful implementation and processing of the file in a short span of time.
