On Thursday, the Bhagyanagar Ram Navami Utsav Samithi organized a grand shobha yatra in Hyderabad to celebrate Sri Rama Navami. The procession saw devotees of all ages, from children to the elderly, chanting slogans of ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and expressing their devotion to Lord Rama.

The shobha yatra ended peacefully thanks to meticulous planning and supervision by senior city police officers, as well as coordination with other departments. Field personnel executed commands perfectly, ensuring that the event went smoothly.

Meanwhile, at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills, the Rama Navami festival was celebrated with religious fervor. Radha Govinda, appearing in the Avataras of Sita Ramachandra, was beautifully decorated with flowers, new dresses, and jewelry.

However, not all news from Hyderabad was positive. Suspended Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Goshmahal MLA T Raja Singh was booked for allegedly delivering a hate speech at a rally in Mumbai. The Dadar police station official said that a case was registered four days ago after examining Singh’s speech at the rally organized by the Hindu SakalSamaj between Shivaji Park and Labour Board office.
