Hyderabad’s Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao, commented on the high land values in Kokapet, stating that the sale of lands per acre reflects the growth of the State. According to him, the purchase of land by world-class companies at such a high price should not be seen solely from an economic perspective, but also as a sign of Telangana’s progress.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the development index of Hyderabad is evidence of the city’s growth. He also mentioned that the high land prices are a response to those who insulted Hyderabad’s self-esteem by spreading propaganda that the city would decline and land prices would fall if Telangana became a separate state.
KCR also expressed his appreciation for the efforts of HMDA officials, MAUD Minister KT Rama Rao, and HMDA Metropolitan Commissioner and MAUD Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar in the development of Hyderabad.
