    The new Secretariat building, named ‘B R Ambedkar Mantralaya’, will be inaugurated on April 30 in Hyderabad. All departments have been instructed to move their offices and equipment, including computers, printers, and files, to the new building by April 28. The General Administration Department has allotted office space to each department and time slots are given to ease the burden of transportation.

    The Chief Minister will visit the offices of key departments after the inauguration and review the facilities provided in the new building. The Revenue department will be located on the ground floor, while Home and Finance wings will be on the first and second floors respectively. The third floor is dedicated to Agriculture & SC Development and Irrigation and Law on the fourth floor, General Administration Department on the fifth floor, and the CM and Chief Secretary will discharge their duties from the sixth floor.

    The GAD officials said that all offices will start functioning from the new secretariat from Sunday. Sudharshana Yagam and special rituals will be performed on the inaugural day. Secretaries will review the facilities provided in the new building and take necessary measures if required. Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari has held a meeting with top officials and asked them to make necessary arrangements for the inauguration of the new building.
