The new Covid variant is spreading quickly in Telangana. As of Wednesday, there have been a total of 63 identified cases, with 53 of them in Hyderabad alone.
After a review meeting with Health Minister Damodara Rajanarsimha, health officials have increased the number of tests being conducted. So far, there have only been 63 positive cases, despite concerns being raised. Testing has also begun in districts outside of Hyderabad.

Health authorities are urging citizens to take precautions and wear masks to prevent the spread of the new variant. The Health Department is on alert and preparing for the possibility of an increase in cases due to the upcoming New Year festivities.
