    Grand Volleyball Tournament Begins in Boravelli Village

    A state-level volleyball tournament had a grand inauguration on Tuesday in Boravelli village of Manopadu Mandal, Jogulamba Gadwal District. The event was part of the annual Chennakeshava Swamy Jatara, a major celebration in the village. Alampur MLA Vijayudu, along with sponsors and players, formally kicked off the competition.

    During his speech, MLA Vijayudu highlighted the importance of sportsmanship. He encouraged players to approach the game with the right spirit, emphasizing that accepting both victory and defeat equally helps make winning easier.

    Sponsor Seshireddy expressed his delight over the enthusiastic participation of 20 teams in the tournament. He remarked that it was inspiring to see such activity in a remote village like Boravelli and reaffirmed his commitment to supporting athletes by offering rewards annually.

    The tournament also features attractive prizes for the top teams. The first-place winners will receive a cash prize of Rs. 30,000, while the second and third-place teams will earn Rs. 15,000 and Rs. 10,000, respectively. The organizers hope the prizes will motivate players and add excitement to the competition.
