The Revenue Minister in Hyderabad has instructed officials to update land prices to reflect current market values and avoid burdening the middle-class community. The decision was made during a meeting at the Secretariat, attended by key officials including the chief secretary of revenue and the IG stamps and registrations.

The Minister highlighted the significant increase in land prices in the State, especially in Hyderabad, prompting the need for a scientific revision of prices. It was noted that some government prices are higher than market values and should be adjusted accordingly to prevent discrepancies.
