Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is planning to hold a cabinet meeting next week to make some important decisions. The meeting is expected to take place on October 23.
One of the main topics of discussion will be the Musi River revival project. Other major issues include a rehabilitation package for those displaced, demands from opposition parties, and the possibility of a special Assembly session to discuss the Musi project.
Additionally, the cabinet will review recommendations from a subcommittee on the Rythu Bharosa scheme, the progress of family digital cards, a BC (Backward Classes) census, the subcategorization of Scheduled Castes (SCs), and preparations for local body elections.
Sources say the Chief Minister wants to resolve pending issues, especially related to the Musi project, local body elections, and BC reservations. The use of ration cards and family digital cards by citizens will also be a key topic.
During the meeting, the CM will ask for input from his cabinet members on these matters and create an action plan to move forward quickly.
There is also a proposal for a special session of the State Assembly, where a bill related to the HYDRA project will be discussed. The cabinet will decide when this session will take place.
The meeting will also address the status of ongoing projects, such as the construction of Young India Integrated Residential Schools and Young India Skills University. The cabinet will discuss how to speed up these efforts, and the Chief Minister is expected to give suggestions on moving forward with these initiatives.
