Telangana Assembly Sets Example for Welfare Initiatives
The Telangana Assembly is being recognized as a model for welfare-driven governance in the country, according to Assembly Speaker G. Prasad Kumar. Speaking at the 85th All India Presiding Officers Conference (AIPOC) in Patna, Bihar, the Speaker highlighted the Assembly’s focus on critical issues like agriculture, quality education, healthcare, social welfare, and essential services.
During his address, Speaker Prasad Kumar expressed pride in the Assembly’s achievements. He cited key legislations such as the Bhu Bharati Act, which supports farmers by providing vital land information, and the establishment of the Young India Skill University, aimed at empowering youth through skill development programs. These initiatives, he said, reflect the aspirations of the people of Telangana.
The Speaker also praised Telangana legislators for their dedication to creating laws that benefit the public. He urged all lawmakers to continue working in the spirit of the Constitution, ensuring their efforts serve as an example for future generations.
The conference was attended by other prominent dignitaries, including Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, Deputy Chairman Banda Prakash Mudiraj, Legislature Secretary Dr. V. Narasimha Charyulu, and several officials. Their presence underscored Telangana’s commitment to advancing welfare and legislative priorities.
