During the meeting, Sridhar Babu invited Piyush Goyal to attend the BioAsia-2025 event in Hyderabad on February 26. This event brings together researchers, policymakers, and industry experts from around the world in the field of biotechnology. The Union Minister praised Telangana’s efforts in biotechnology and assured his participation in the event.

Telangana has proposed setting up Mega Leather Parks (MLPs) in Rukmapur village, Karimnagar district, and Ghanpur village, Jangaon district. The state has requested financial support from the central government’s Department of Industrial Promotion Policy (DPIIT) for infrastructure, including Community Effluent Treatment Plants (CETPs), which are essential for these parks.
