The BJP-led Central government is focused on national security, integrity, and people’s welfare. However, opposition parties like Congress and BRS often criticize the BJP for their own political gain.
Kanmatha Reddy Sridevi Reddy, a BJP State executive member, defended the Central government’s achievements in an interview with The Hans India. She highlighted that Prime Minister Modi’s leadership has prioritized welfare and development, raising India’s reputation internationally. While global leaders have praised Modi, some opposition leaders within the country remain critical.
Sridevi Reddy mentioned successful Central schemes like Jan Dhan Yojana, Skill India Mission, Make in India, Swachh Bharat Mission, Sansad Adarsh Gram Yojana, Shramev Jayate Yojana, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, PM Mudra Yojna, Ujala Yojana, Smart City initiative, AMRUT Strategy, Mission for Digital India, PM Awas Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat. She explained that these initiatives have improved infrastructure and connectivity across the nation in the past nine years. She also supported key decisions like the abrogation of Article 370 and the Triple Talaq ban. Sridevi Reddy advocated for the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC), emphasizing its benefits for women and addressing misinformation spread about it.
Moving to local matters, Sridevi Reddy criticized the KCR government for not fulfilling promises and urged people to support the BJP in the upcoming Assembly elections. She specifically mentioned the unfulfilled Nalgonda adoption promise made by CM KCR during the 2018 elections. She highlighted issues like poor road conditions and drainage in Nalgonda constituency.
As a dedicated BJP party worker and potential candidate for the Nalgonda Assembly ticket, Sridevi Reddy is actively promoting the Central government’s schemes among the people. She demanded that the State government fulfill pending promises like providing 2BHK houses to the poor, waiving crop loans for farmers, filling vacant government job positions, and focusing on infrastructure development in both urban and rural areas.
Sridevi Reddy warned the public to be cautious of power-hungry Congress leaders and not fall for exaggerated promises made by the opposition.
She also condemned a recent rape incident involving two Hindu girls in Hyderabad, allegedly by a Muslim auto driver and his brother. Sridevi Reddy called on CM KCR to take strict action against the culprits and address the increasing crimes and atrocities against women in the State.
