The Sri Nityananda Trayodashi festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, on Monday evening. This festival marks the auspicious appearance of Sri Nithyananda Ramawas.
As part of the celebrations, a special ritual called “Nitai Gauranga Ashtottara Kalasha Maha Abhishekam” was performed. In this ritual, 108 Kalashas (sacred pots) were used, filled with fruit juices, flowers, panchamritam (a mixture of five sacred ingredients), panchagavyam (a mixture of five cow-related products), and fragrant substances.
Later in the evening, senior members of the Hare Krishna Movement, Hyderabad, honored young devotees and other community members who participated in the Gita Marathon. During this event, copies of the Bhagavad Gita and other Vedic literature were distributed.
A large number of devotees from across the city took part in the festival, making the event a grand success.
