    Sports are Key to Mental and Physical Health: MLC Naveen Kumar Reddy

    Sports play an important role in refreshing the mind and strengthening the body, said Unified Mahbubnagar MLC Nagarakunta Naveen Reddy.

    On Monday, MLC Naveen Kumar Reddy attended the closing ceremony of the KMR Premier League-1 cricket tournament as the chief guest. The event took place in Kandivanam village, located in Shadnagar constituency.

    During the tournament, the All-Star team from Kandivanam village emerged as the winner, while the Eleven Star team from Mogiligidda village secured the runners-up position. MLC Naveen Kumar Reddy presented awards to the winning athletes, congratulating them on their performance.

    Speaking at the event, he urged the youth to balance their studies with an active interest in sports. He assured the young athletes that they would receive the necessary support and encouragement to pursue their passions. MLC Reddy expressed hope that local athletes would succeed at the national level and bring recognition to the Shadnagar area.

    He also shared words of encouragement for those who did not win, reminding them that losing is part of the journey and that every loss is a step closer to future victories. He advised them not to feel disheartened but to continue striving for success in upcoming tournaments.

    The event saw the participation of cricket tournament organizers, including Vinod and Naresh, along with former sarpanches Amru Naik and Shiva Jyothi, BRS leaders, local athletes, and other attendees.
