    Hyderabad: The Alumni Meet 2024 at Sphoorthy Engineering College, Nadergul, was a lively and heartwarming event that brought together former and current students. It celebrated the strong connection between the college and its alumni, focusing on achievements, collaboration, and mentorship. The program began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony, led by the Principal, Heads of Departments, and Alumni Association Coordinator, Mr. Ashok Darshanala. To add a cultural touch, two students performed an elegant Bharatanatyam dance.

    One of the main highlights was the interaction between alumni and final-year students. Shashank, who is pursuing an MS in Germany, shared how his final-year project played a crucial role in securing his position abroad, inspiring many in the audience. Entrepreneur Rahul announced his plan to deliver guest lectures on Data Analytics, and Adarsh, a Solutions Analyst at Xcube Labs, assured students of placement opportunities, spreading hope and encouragement.

    The alumni shared valuable life lessons and advice. Phanindra, a 2022 graduate, spoke about how values learned at Ramakrishna Math influenced his global perspective. Rajesh, a Business Analyst at Aspire Systems, emphasized the importance of leadership skills. Sasidhar reassured students that their career paths are not confined by their chosen branch of study, while Y. Sandip motivated students to make the best use of the college’s resources. Alumni like Shanmukhi from Infosys and Bharath provided practical tips on skill development, which resonated deeply with the students.

    Secretary Sri S. Jagan Mohan Reddy highlighted the role of alumni as mentors and collaborators. He encouraged them to stay connected and actively contribute to the college’s growth. The event also included fun games, organized by Dr. Ravikanth, which added moments of joy and strengthened bonds among attendees. Prizes were distributed to participants, making the day even more memorable.

    The day ended with a strategic meeting between the college authorities and alumni. During this session, constructive suggestions for the institution’s growth were discussed, showcasing the alumni’s commitment to driving progress and preserving Sphoorthy’s legacy.
