In order to handle the extra number of passengers during the Onam festival, the South Central Railway will be running special trains between Secunderabad and Kollam.
The train number 07119 (Secunderabad-Kollam) will depart from Secunderabad at 5.50 pm on August 25 and reach Kollam at 11.20 pm the next day. The train number 07120 (Kollam-Secunderabad) will depart from Kollam at 7 pm on August 27 and arrive at Secunderabad at 11.50 pm the next day.
These special trains will make stops at various stations including Begumpet, Lingampalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Seram, Chittapur, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Guntakal, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cuddapah, Renigunta, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Alwaye, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Chenganassery, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavellikara, and Kayamkulam.
These special trains will have AC II tier, AC III tier, sleeper class, and general second class coaches.
