    Special official teams have been sent to the districts in Telangana that have been heavily affected by rain. Their purpose is to speed up relief operations. Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari are closely monitoring the situation and giving instructions to officials. Their goal is to ensure that flood victims are moved to safe places and provided with relief in camps.

    The Chief Secretary has already appointed IAS officers as Special Officers in several districts. These officers will assist the local district administration in relief operations in the flood-affected areas. The appointed officers and their respective districts are as follows:

    – Mancherial: Bharati Holikeri, Special Secretary, Department of Women and Child Welfare

    – Asifabad: Hanmanta Rao, Commissioner, Panchayati Raj

    In case of any emergency, the NDRF, SDRF, and Fire Service teams are prepared to carry out rescue and relief measures.
