The State government has made special arrangements for pilgrims visiting prominent temples, including Yadagirigutta, due to increased influx of devotees during summer holidays. Officials at the Yadadri temple have set up a German Hanger Shed covering 23,000 sqft to provide shade from the heat.
In addition to the shade, lactation rooms have been established at various temples for mothers to feed infants. Drinking water taps, seating areas, and increased AC capacity at queue complexes have also been arranged. Wheelchairs for Divyang individuals and shaded pathways from ticket counters to queue complexes are available for pilgrims.
Endowments Commissioner M Hanumantha Rao has directed officials to ensure basic arrangements are in place at all prominent temples across the State.
