Gadwal: District Superintendent of Police (SP) T. Srinivas Rao, IPS, has highlighted the importance of balancing work responsibilities with physical fitness and health. He emphasized that police officials and staff need to stay physically active to perform their duties efficiently. According to him, sports like volleyball play a crucial role in maintaining both strength and overall well-being.
To promote this idea, the SP, alongside Armed Reserve DSP Narendra Rao, inaugurated a modern volleyball court. The new facility is located within the premises of the District Armed Reserve Police Office and is designed for police officials and staff to engage in regular sports activities.
During the event, SP Srinivas Rao spoke about the significance of staying fit and healthy. He explained that physical fitness not only helps police personnel stay strong but also enhances their ability to focus better on their duties. He encouraged everyone to adopt sports like volleyball as part of their daily routine.
The SP also advised police staff to prioritize their own health as well as their families’ well-being. He recommended consistent use of the new volleyball court for practice and as a way to stay active.
The inauguration event was attended by several officials, including SB Inspector Nageshwar Reddy, RI Venkatesh, RSIs Ramakrishna and Vijay Bhaskar, along with other members of the Armed Reserve Police staff.
