    The district Superintendent of Police Riti Raj held a monthly review meeting with the district police at the SP office. During the meeting, SP Riti Raj emphasized the importance of police officials being vigilant and following instructions from the election commission in preparation for the upcoming parliament elections.

    She also highlighted the need to crack down on smugglers transporting money and drugs beyond legal limits. Strict vigilance will be maintained at check posts and riverside areas, with seized money being returned to the district according to election rules. Additionally, awareness about the significance of CC cameras in rural areas for crime investigation was stressed, along with promoting community policing to address issues like child labor, child marriage, drug prevention, cyber crimes, etc.

    All complaints should be recorded online and in general diaries at police stations. It was also emphasized that youth should avoid drugs and stay away from them to prevent harm to themselves and their families. The SP recommended making Gadwal a cannabis-free district and highlighted the dangers of using ganja and adulterated Taddy.

    DSP K Satya Narayana, Cyber Security Bureau DSP Sattiah, and several other police officials from Alampur, Gadwal, and ShantiNagar participated in the meeting at the SP office to discuss these important matters.
