Gadwal: As part of his annual inspections, District SP Mr. T. Srinivasa Rao, IPS, visited the Gadwal Rural Police Station today. During his visit, he reviewed the station’s records and inspected the surrounding areas. The SP also held a face-to-face meeting with the police officers and staff, asking if they had any issues and encouraging them to report any work-related problems.

The SP advised the officers and staff to perform their duties with dedication. He mentioned that those showing commitment in their work would be rewarded monthly. He emphasized that every officer should handle their responsibilities with care and be aware of the tasks assigned to them.

He also suggested that officers focus on serving the public effectively. He asked them to be available to address public concerns at all times. The SP highlighted the importance of treating everyone who visits the police station with respect and ensuring that equal services are provided to all.

In addition, the SP reminded the officers to stay within the district’s jurisdiction during duty hours and encouraged them to spend quality time with their families when possible. He also stressed the importance of maintaining good health through regular exercise, yoga, meditation, and walking. Discipline, neatness, punctuality, and leadership qualities were also emphasized by the SP.

During the inspection, the SP reviewed the 5S implementation at the station, checking that files were well-organized. He went over the cases registered in the past three years and examined ongoing investigations and pending trials, particularly in serious cases.

The SP instructed officers to keep a close watch on rowdies, habitual offenders, and anti-social elements, monitoring their movements carefully. He also directed night patrol officers to check on known offenders and track their activities. Additionally, the SP stressed the need for clear roles and goals among the staff to better serve the public and reduce crime.

He further instructed the staff to update the CCTNS system daily, ensuring that all FIRs, charge sheets, and court disposals were entered online promptly. The SP urged the team to work together to reduce crime and improve the quality of investigations to achieve higher conviction rates.

The SP also emphasized proactive policing. He asked the officers to gather detailed information about the villages and visit them two to three times a week. This, he said, would help them understand public issues and prevent crimes before they happen.

Moreover, the SP emphasized raising public awareness about cybercrimes, drug abuse, and the harmful effects of child marriages. He asked the officers to keep an eye on both old and new offenders in the villages and report any suspicious activities to the relevant authorities.

The event was attended by DSP Mr. Satyanarayana, Gadwal In-charge CI Nageshwar Reddy, SI Srikanth, PSIs Venkatesh and Swathi, along with other police personnel.
