Six people, including a juvenile, were arrested by Bahadurpura police in Hyderabad for killing a man in Kishanbagh on April 15. The arrested individuals are Shaik Shahbaz (22), Shaik Shahnawaz (23), Shoaib Khan (30), Mohd Farooq (20), Syed Akbar (29), and the juvenile. They were charged with the murder of Mohammed Khaleel (23) over a small disagreement.
On April 15, Shahbaz encouraged a fight between Shahnawaz and Khaleel by teasing them. This led to a physical altercation between Shahbaz and Khaleel, which was broken up by locals and other bystanders who then alerted the police. The accused fled the scene and regrouped at Akbar’s house. Shahbaz, feeling embarrassed in front of his friends, decided to kill Khaleel along with his accomplices.
Shahbaz instructed the juvenile to get a knife from his house and hide it in Farooq’s vehicle. Later, during a confrontation with Mohammed Khadeer (Khaleel’s brother), Shahbaz stabbed Khaleel with the knife, causing fatal injuries. The accused fled after the incident.
After registering a case, the police identified and arrested the suspects with the help of their resources. All of them were presented in court and remanded in custody.
