The six-day-long Brahmotsavam celebrations at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple in Hyderabad, which began on Sunday, came to an end on Friday. Devotees gathered in large numbers to participate in the grand spiritual festivities.
On the final day, several rituals were performed in the morning, including Maha Purnahuti, Utsavar Abhishekam, and Chakra Snanam for various Utsavar Deities. In the evening, a Pushpa Yagam (flower offering) and a grand 108 Kalasha Maha Churnabhishekam were conducted. This special ceremony was performed for the Deities of Radha Govinda, Lakshmi Narasimha, Nitai Gauranga, and Srila Prabhupada, accompanied by joyful Bhajans and Kirtans.
The celebrations concluded with the Maha Samprokshana and Dhwaja Avarohana ceremonies, marking the end of the spiritual event. Devotees expressed their devotion and gratitude through prayers and chants.
Madhu Pandit Dasa Prabhuji, chairman of ISKCON Bengaluru and Akshaya Patra, spoke about the significance of chanting the ‘Hare Krishna Maha Mantra’ daily. He encouraged everyone to take up this practice as an offering to Lord Sri Radha Krishna.
Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa Prabhuji, president of the Hare Krishna Movement Hyderabad, shared his joy over the successful completion of the Brahmotsavam. He emphasized that the event, along with the much-awaited installation of the Mula Vigraha (main Deities) of Radha Govinda, would bring blessings, peace, and prosperity to all.
