Housing and Minority Welfare Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan stated that if the Congress comes to power in Telangana, they will implement six guarantees within 24 hours. This announcement was made during an open campaign meeting for candidate Anjan Kumar Yadav in Musheerabad.
Khan praised Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s governance in Karnataka and assured the people of Telangana that the Congress will provide the same pro-people governance if they come to power. He mentioned that there is a wind of change in Telangana and the people are tired of the ruling party’s ten-year rule. Khan also emphasized that only the Congress can develop Telangana, as it was Congress leader Sonia Gandhi who fought for the creation of the separate state.
He further stated that the Congress is the hope for all classes, including Muslims and the minority community. The meeting was attended by Minister Bose Raju, Dr MC Sudhakar, Chief Minister’s Political Secretary Naseer Ahmed, Chief Whip Ajay Singh, Former Minister Raghuveer Reddy, Leaders Mansoor Ali Khan, Ayaz Khan, and Fazal Khan.
