Hyderabad: Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari has issued orders on the transfers and postings of IPS Officers. The transfers and postings will take immediate effect.
Dr Soumya Mishra, IPS (1994), who was waiting for a posting, has been appointed as the Additional Director General of Police (Personnel) at the Office of Director General of Police, Telangana. This is in place of VB Kamalasan Reddy, IPS (2004) who has been transferred.
VB Kamalasan Reddy, IPS, who was serving as the Inspector General of Police (Personnel) at the DGP office, has been posted as the Director General (Drugs Control) in Hyderabad.
AR Srinivas, IPS (2004), who was the Addl. Commissioner of Police for Crimes & SIT in Hyderabad, has been transferred and will now serve as the Director of the Anti-Corruption Bureau in Hyderabad.
Ambar Kishore Jha, IPS (2009), who was also waiting for a posting, has been appointed as the Deputy Inspector General of Police for Home Guards and Technical Services in Hyderabad.
Dr P Shabarish, IPS (2017), who was serving as the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Crimes in Hyderabad City, has been transferred and will now serve as the Deputy Commissioner of Police for Medchal in the Cyberabad Commissionerate.
