    Shri A. Sridhar is now the Chief Public Relations Officer for South Central Railway, starting on July 9, 2024 at Rail Nilayam in Secunderabad. He is from the 2011 batch of the Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS). Before this new role, he was the Deputy General Manager (G) for South Central Railway. He takes over from Shri Ch. Rakesh, who is now the Deputy Chief Vigilance Officer (Traffic & RPF) for SCR. Shri A. Sridhar has a M.A degree from Osmania University.

    He began his career on Indian Railways as an Area Officer in Bhadrachalam, Secunderabad Division of SCR. Throughout his career, he has held various positions such as Area Officer in Ramagundam, Divisional Commercial Manager for Hyderabad & Secunderabad Divisions, Divisional Operations Manager in Secunderabad Division, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager in Hyderabad Division, Senior Divisional Operations Manager in Nanded Division, and Deputy Chief Operations Manager for Planning & FOIS at SCR.

    Shri A. Sridhar received the General Manager’s Award in 2022 for his outstanding performance in the officer’s category. Known for his attention to detail, he has a positive attitude and is interested in finding new and innovative ways of working.
