    The Telangana Labour Welfare Board is inviting applications for merit scholarships. These scholarships are available to workers and their children who are contributors to the Labour Welfare Fund. The scholarships are for the academic year 2022-2023.

    Employees of Shops & Establishments, Factories, Motor Transport Undertakings, Co-operative Societies, Charitable and other Trusts are eligible to apply. Application forms can be obtained from the Labour Department offices in the area.

    The deadline for submitting filled-in applications is February 15, 2024. Applications that are submitted after this date or are incomplete will be rejected without any notice.

    Scholarships will be awarded based on the percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in their qualifying exams. The scholarship amount will be transferred to the beneficiaries’ bank accounts by the respective Assistant Commissioners of Labour before “May Day”. This information was provided by Gangadhar, the incharge Welfare Commissioner of the Telangana Labour Welfare Board in Hyderabad.
