Hyderabad: Karnataka Deputy CM and KPCC president D K Shivakumar has refuted the allegations made by BRS that Congress has failed to implement the 5-guarantees in the neighboring State. Shivakumar stated that despite his requests, neither KCR nor KTR visited Karnataka to find out the truth. He also mentioned that once the Congress forms government in Telangana, all the 6-guarantees will be implemented similarly.

Shivakumar addressed the media at a meet-the-press event in the City, where he criticized the involvement of BRS party in Karnataka elections. He explained that the pink party initially tried to support JD (S) in Karnataka but later decided to stay away as it would harm their prospects back home. Shivakumar also accused KCR of attempting to poach some of his party MLAs in Karnataka, but he was unsuccessful.

When questioned, Shivakumar emphasized that the neighboring State was actively involved in the electioneering in Telangana out of love, rejecting allegations of money flow into Telugu State. He challenged the ruling BRS in Telangana to police the State borders more effectively if they truly believed such allegations.
