    Important leaders of the BRS party in Hyderabad skipped a meeting called by working president KT Rama Rao to discuss a strategy for the upcoming Council elections in the Nalgonda-Warangal-Khammam Graduates constituency.

    KTR had invited leaders from Nalgonda, Warangal, and Khammam to decide on a strategy to support party candidate Rakesh Reddy. While over 120 leaders were invited, only around 60 actually attended the meeting. Senior leaders like E Dayakar Rao, Peddi Sudarshan Reddy, Challa Dharma Reddy, and others from the three districts did not show up.

    Former minister G Jagadish Reddy, Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Puvvada Ajay Kumar, and Palla Rajeshwar Reddy were among those who did attend the meeting. KT Rama Rao asked senior leader Rajeshwar Reddy to ensure Rakesh Reddy’s victory in the election. Jagadish Reddy was given responsibility for Nalgonda district, while Ajay Kumar was assigned to Khammam district.

    Rao instructed party leaders to hold meetings with graduates and teachers in the constituency leading up to the election scheduled for May 27. Rakesh Reddy will be competing against former journalist and Congress leader Teenmar Mallanna, also known as Chintapandu Naveen.

    The BRS leader criticized the Congress candidate, calling him a blackmailer. Rao emphasized the importance of electing an educated candidate like Rakesh Reddy and warned against choosing someone who could potentially become a criminal.
