Hyderabad: Servotech Power Systems Ltd., a solar product manufacturer, has received an order to set up a 5.6 MW on-grid rooftop solar power plant in Uttarakhand. The project, awarded by the Uttarakhand New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (UREDA), is valued at Rs 30.2 crore. This initiative aims to promote the use of solar energy in the state.

Servotech will handle the entire process of designing, supplying, installing, and testing the solar power plants. The company will also take care of net metering and commissioning the systems to ensure efficient operation.

Additionally, Servotech will provide comprehensive maintenance and warranty services for the next five years. The installations, ranging from 1 kW to 1500 kW, will be set up at key locations such as government offices, colleges, hospitals, and other institutions across Uttarakhand. This project is expected to significantly support the state’s renewable energy goals and reduce its carbon footprint.
