    SERP employees receive new pay scale as Ugadi gift from the government

    The State Government of Hyderabad has issued new pay scales for the SERP employees as a Ugadi gift. The government order, GO 11, was sanctioned on Saturday and will benefit a total of 3,978 employees. The new pay scale will be effective from April 1, fulfilling the dreams of the SERP employees who have been waiting for the last 23 years. The new pay scale will result in a phenomenal increase in their salaries and wages.

    The decision to issue the new pay scale was announced by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the Assembly. The SERP employees expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister and other ministers including KT Rama Rao, T Harish Rao, Errabelli Dayakar Rao, and MLC K Kavitha for taking their demands to the notice of CM and working hard to fulfill them. In a gesture of appreciation, they poured milk on the portrait of the CM.

    The BRS had given assurance to the SERP employees during the previous election manifesto. The decision to issue the new pay scale will result in an additional burden of Rs 58 Crore per year on the state government. Minister Dayakar Rao expressed his gratitude and thanked CM KCR for this decision.

    The state JAC leaders of the SERP unions have announced that they will hold a large-scale ‘milk-bath’ program across the State on Sunday to express their thanks to the ministers. This decision by the State Government will undoubtedly bring relief and happiness to the SERP employees who have been waiting for this moment for a long time.
