An all-IAS team of officials has taken charge as the in-charge Vice-Chancellors of several State Universities in Hyderabad. The State government issued GOs appointing them under relevant sections of the Acts of these universities.
B Venkatesham, Principal Secretary of the Education department, will be the in-charge Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H). Meanwhile, M Dana Kishore, Principal Secretary of Municipal Administration, will take over as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor of Osmania University, Hyderabad.
Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary for Electronics and Communications, is the new Vice-Chancellor of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University (JNAFAU), Hyderabad. The Principal Secretary of the State Energy Department will lead as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor of Dr BR Ambedkar Open University (DBRAOU), Hyderabad.
Other appointments include Navin Mittal, Principal Secretary of State Revenue Department, at Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, and Ahmed Nadeem, Principal Secretary for Planning Department, at Palamuru University, Mahbubnagar. Shailaja Ramaiyer, Principal Secretary for Youth, Advancement, Tourism and Culture, will head Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University (PSTU).
Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Principal Secretary for Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department, is appointed as the in-charge Vice-Chancellor of Telangana University, Nizamabad. Karuna Vakati, Secretary for Women, Children, Disabled and Senior Citizens Department, will lead Kakatiya University, Warangal as its new in-charge Vice-Chancellor.
