A high-level delegation has arrived in Sringeri following the instructions of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. The purpose of the visit is to seek approval from the Sringeri Peetham for starting development works at the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Temple in Vemulawada.

The delegation is made up of several key figures, including Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas, the Chief Minister’s Special Officer Vemula Srinivasulu, Rajanna Devasthanam Executive Officer Vinod Reddy, an architect from the Endowments Department named Vallinayagam, Sringeri Peetham’s Telangana representative Radhakrishna, as well as temple officials and priests.

The Telangana government has already set aside ₹50 crore in the annual budget for the development of the Vemulawada Rajanna Temple. On August 30, a meeting took place at the Secretariat, where MLA Aadi Srinivas and temple officials discussed the need for approval from Sringeri Peetham with the Chief Minister. Following that meeting, the Chief Minister instructed the team to secure the necessary permissions and start the development work.
