Bicycles Distributed to Students in Mulugu District
In a bid to support students in backward villages of Mulugu district, 130 bicycles were distributed to students with the help of Synchrony and OpenText companies. This initiative was carried out under the guidance of the Nirman voluntary organization to assist young learners in remote areas.
The distribution event took place at the Government Junior College in Govindaraopet. Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka graced the occasion as the chief guest. During her speech, Minister Seethakka pointed out the lack of basic facilities for students in remote regions. She urged corporate companies and influential individuals to adopt these areas for development and provide necessary support.
Nirman, which has adopted six villages over the past five months, has been actively working to improve the lives of students through initiatives like this. The organization’s efforts aim to bridge gaps in education and provide assistance to rural communities.
In addition to the bicycle distribution, Minister Seethakka inaugurated an open borewell in LB Nagar village to address water needs. She also announced plans to organize monthly mega job fairs in Hyderabad and free medical camps in rural areas, focusing on improving access to education and healthcare.
The event saw the presence of several prominent individuals, including district president Paidakula Ashok, Library Corporation Chairman Banoth Ravi Chander, Mandal President Paladugu Venkatakrishna, and Nirman members Mayur and Priya. Their collective efforts aim to uplift underprivileged communities and enhance opportunities for students in the region.
